The owners of the Thomas Street Tavern realize that it's really on Thomas Avenue, but the name just didn't have the same ring, so they switched it around. Luckily for residents of the Plaza-Midwood area, they didn't tamper with the great bar equation too much.

You're as likely to sidle up to a stockyard worker as a stockbroker at the sleek, curved bar. If you're in the mood for a little activity, there's always foosball or the pool table, hidden in a private nook back in the corner. Can't stand the smoke? Venture out to the roomy patio and grab a breath of fresh air. Whether you want to groove with a group of friends, meet some new people or just take in the game on the TV, Thomas Street is a solid choice.
