Located on the corner of Eighth Street and Railroad Avenue, 8th & Rail offers a different kind of late-night spot. The bar makes all of its drinks with top-shelf liquors and good champaigne and wines. For an adult crowd looking for a place to go for a cocktail and social hour, 8th & Rail is great. However, the crowd is that perfect mix between college students and young to middle-aged adults. It also offers domestic and imported beers, as well as coffee and desserts. The interior of 8th & Rail is a drastic change from the other night spots around Auburn and Opelika. A former gym, the interior maintains a shiny silver ceiling and hardwood floors.
